Description
Ferrochrome with a high carbon content is a type of ferroalloy, that is, an alloy of chromium and iron, generally containing 50 to 70% chromium by weight. Ferrochrome with a high carbon content is one of the most commonly produced ferroalloys, as well as one of the most important and necessary industrial metals because of its hardness and corrosion resistance. Ferrochrome is widely used in the production of stainless steel.
